Puns aside, Sublime is a fantastic band for anyone who’s into the tongue-in-cheek nature of ska-punk and the chilled vibes of reggae. When I found out that there was a band that combined all of these elements into their music, you could say that I thought that sounded sublime. Two of my favorite genres, when I was growing up, were punk, third-wave ska, and reggae. I’ve always been a fan of musicians that create songs by merging different genres together, there’s just something really creative about that.
